Two staff of absa Bank Ghana Limited have contracted COVID-19.

In a memo, the Managing Director of absa Bank, Abena Osei-Poku, said the affected staff members have been isolated for treatment.

“If you feel unwell, kindly contact functional head, who will ensure you have received the required support immediately”, the memo told staff, adding: “Testing is available to all of you on-demand.”

Currently, Ghana’s COVID-19 caseload has increased to 13, 203 after 274 new cases were confirmed on Friday, the Ghana Health Service reported.

Also, the number of recoveries has increased to 4,548.

Four more fatalities have also taken the death toll to 70 as of Friday, 19 June 2020.

The active cases now are 8,585.
