The Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority, Seth Panwum Boyoyo has told the Ghana Premier League Clubs to embrace the e-ticketing policy.
According to him, the policy is designed to help clubs with their revenue mobilization from gate proceeds.
“This policy is good and I will entreat all the clubs to embrace it since it will help greatly in the revenue mobilization and I also want to encourage all to educate your supporters so they also embrace it,”. He said this at a workshop organized by Ghana.GOV in collaboration with the NSA at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
The Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Mr. Kudjoe Fianoo also called on all clubs in Ghana to accept the e-ticketing.
Premier League clubs Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak have been using the e-ticketing platform after it was first used in Ghana’s World Cup play-off game against Nigeria in March.
