Economy in fiscal 'mess' - IFS urges govt to stop populism

The government of Ghana will, today, Wednesday, 15 July 2020, start the process for the issuance of a six-year treasury bond.

The process starts with the opening of the book bill at 9 am.

This follows the release of initial pricing guidance on Tuesday, 14 July 2020.

Each bond shall have a face value of One Ghana Cedi.

The minimum bid is at GHS50,000 and multiples of GHS1000 thereafter.

Bids will be accepted on a yield (%) basis.

According to the Bank of Ghana, all successful bill will clear at a single clearing level. Discretionary allocation at the single clearing level in event of over-subscription.
