Recently the Ghana Health Service informed the Ghanaian public that the pandemic has reached its peak.
However, after a number of health experts have rebutted the assertion that we are not at the peak of the pandemic and that we will have a lot more cases in the coming days.
The figures now shows a sharp rise from 2, 169 on May 2, 2020 to 4,012 on May 8, 2020. An increment of 1, 843 in six days interval.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has predicted that about 190,000 people are likely to die from the Covid-19 in Africa.
The question is; are these figures showing a sign of reaching the peak of the pandemic?
