The New Patriotic Party (NPP) held a press conference this afternoon on the selection of John Dramani Mahama’s running mate. It was the prime battle of attacks on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) second in command in this year’s election.
The press briefing was led by Samuel Buaben Asamoah at the party’s campaign office at Kokomlemle.
In the press conference, Mr Buaben congratulated Naana Jane for her choice as a running mate. However, Mr Buaben jabbed her for failing to fight for women and progressive agenda for women in the Republic. The attack also asserted that the Professor running mate led the positive agenda to scrap off the State policy on teacher’s allowance, among others.
He further sent a signal that the NPP is going to show her political fire in the coming days.
